With free agency still going on and a lot of moves to be made, there is plenty of basketball to discuss. Read below as we highlight the teams projected to win the most games next year in the NBA.

2018-2019 NBA Season Total Wins Predictions

Golden State Warriors (64.5)

Without a doubt the best team in the NBA, it is no surprise whatsoever that these Warriors top the list. They’ve won three of four championships, and look like they are still just getting started with it. Now that they’ve added DeMarcus Cousins, it only gets more fun for them.

An All-Star starting five is now in place here, and when everybody is healthy, there is no weak link, no player to target. The improvement of Jordan Bell and the Warriors bench through more experience serves to make these guys the most feared team in the league. Take the OVER!

Toronto Raptors (58.5)

Already slated to finish high in the east next year, Toronto went on and brought in Kawhi Leonard. With DeMar DeRozan gone and Kawhi now on board, Kyle Lowry has a new running mate, and the Raptors bench now gets even better. OG Anunoby will now be serving as a backup.

The talent this team has is undeniable, and it’s really too bad they canned Dwane Casey before LeBron made his decision to bolt from Cleveland to LA. The Raptors, now coached by Nick Nurse, have tremendous depth and will have a big year. Another team to take the OVER!

Boston Celtics (56.5)

Last year, the Celtics finished atop the East. They didn’t have Kyrie Irving for 22 games and only had Gordon Hayward for the first five minutes of the season. They have undeniable talent, elite young wings, and a big man in Al Horford who is a tremendous facilitator.

Within a win of the NBA Finals last year, Boston returns with the best odds to win the conference. They are listed below the Raptors as far as win projection, but will likely finish ahead of them next year, assuming they are healthy. BEWARE OF BOSTON. Another OVER!

Philadelphia 76ers (53.5)

Though they’ve lost a number of key players in free agency and through trades, Philly is listed with the third most wins in the East, and fourth in the NBA. They acquired Wilson Chandler in a trade to help bolster their bench.

The Sixers look like a good pick for the 2018-2019 NBA Season.

With Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid leading the squad, the expectations are high for this team. Markelle Fultz is going to show the world what they were supposed to see last year. Watch out for these fellas. Take the UNDER for Philadelphia.

Houston Rockets (51.5)

The reason for the drop in the Rockets projections stem from losing Trevor Ariza and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, and still not re-signing Clint Capela yet. They did just recently sign Carmelo Anthony, but this won’t help them with anything but a PF upgrade.

With depth across the board, Houston is looking very impressive coming into the year. Except at the center spot, where they don’t have much. If they don’t bring Clint Capela back, they will win close to 52 games, but if they get him, 60 without a doubt. Take the OVER.
