This weekend from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn New York, UFC 223 will take place. The big fight was supposed to be Tony Ferguson against Khabib Nurmagomedov, but Ferguson was forced to back out on April 1st. That put Max Halloway into the mix to fight in this event. Here is our look at the UFC 223 Betting Odds, Preview, and Predictions.

UFC 223 Betting Preview & Expert Predictions

Khabib Nurmagomedv -450 over Max Halloway

In the lightweight bout – the 29-year-old from Russia is now a massive favorite and should have no problem taking down Halloway. Nurmagomedv has yet to lose a single fight, as he is a perfect 25-0 in his career. He has not fought since December, where he smoked Edson Barboza. Max Halloway is a 26-year old that has actually won 16 straight fights. His most recent was in December where he won via TKO over Jose Aldo. He has beaten Aldo in his last two fights. While he is a great fighter, he will be overmatched in this one.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk -125 over Rose Namajunas

In what will likely be the most competitive fight of the night – the 30-year-old from Poland – Jedrzejczyk is ready for some revenge. She lost to Namajunas on November 4th back in New York City. It was her first ever loss. Rose has won back to back fights since the loss to Karolina Kowalkieicz back in 2016. Her ability to move was the big key in the win last time. Look for the work of Jedrzejczyk to pay off, and come away with a win.

Anthony Pettis +115 over Michael Chiesa

Anthony Pettis is a 31-year-old beast from Milwaukee. He has won 20 fights in his career but is on the wrong side of his career it appears. He has dropped 5 out of his last 7 fights, with Dustin Poirier as the most recent loss.

Michael Chiesa comes in as the UFC 223 Betting favorite.

Pettis is the underdog against the 30-year-old from Colorado. Chiesa is also coming off a loss. Kevin Lee beat him in Oklahoma City back in June. Look for a great fight, but Pettis grabs the small upset.

Karolina Kowalkiewicz -200 over Felice Herrig

Actually, on the Prelim card, but maybe the most intense fight of them all. Karolina and Felice are both incredible fierce fighters. Kowalkiewicz has won 11 fights in his career, with just 2 losses. The 32-year-old Polish Princess is coming off a unanimous decision back in October. Felice Herrig is 33 and from just outside Chicago. She stands just 5’4 and is fighting in her 29th fight. Her 23-5 record is impressive. The most recent bout for Herrig came back in December over Cortney Casey.
