MMA Betting Odds & Expert Preview for Bellator 198

From the All-State Arena just outside of Chicago IL, Bellator 198 will take place this Saturday. This slate looks to be a really good one, and we have great picks for each of them. Let’s take a look at the MMA Betting Odds and Preview for Bellator 198.

MMA Betting Odds & Expert Preview for Bellator 198

Fedor Emelianenko +136 over Frank Mir

The heavyweight battle of the event, we are going with the underdog. Emelianenko has more experience than Mir and far fewer losses. Frank Mir is a guy we have never been sold on to win the big fight, especially this one. His 18-11 record is marred by back to back losses.

Mark Hunt took him down in March, which came after Andrei Arlovski beat him in three rounds. Emelianenko is the guy we are betting on here. Take him at +136 on Saturday.

Emmanuel Sanchez over Sam Sicilia

The 227-year-old Sanchez is from the Chicagoland area. Look for him to have a nice contingent of fans to guide him over the top in this one. A smart fighter, with toughness. He is seeking his fourth straight win after losing to Daniel Wiechel back in 2016. Sam Sicilia is much older. Sicilia is 32 years old, but has momentum after winning in Oklahoma back in December.

Before that though – three straight losses, which knocked him to 15-8. Look for the toughness of Sanchez to shine in this fight.

John Salter over Rafael Lovato Jr

John Salter is 33 years old and making his 19th appearance in the world of Mixed Martial Arts. The guy is only getting better, as he has not lost in nearly 6 years. That loss came in June of 2012 in Nashville. His latest win was in Isreal over Jason Radcliffe.

He will take on Rafael Lovato Jr, – who has yet to lose. He has won 7 straight fights since he started his career back in 2014. That will change in this fight. Lovato Jr has yet to face a guy the caliber of John Salter. Look for Salter to take down Lovato this weekend.

Best of luck with all your MMA betting for Bellator 198 this weekend, and throughout the season. We hope you enjoy the event and take down the sportsbooks. Have a great betting weekend!
