On Saturday night, the San Francisco Giants meet the Los Angeles Dodgers in an National League West division matchup. The Giants and Dodgers both are 6-4 and are tied for first place in the West, but Dodgers beat Arizona 5-2 on Thursday while the Giants just lost in Colorado on Thursday, 11-6. They open their series with the Dodgers on Friday night, as Madison Bumgarner takes the hill for San Francisco, opposite Clayton Kershaw for the Dodgers. Find the latest MLB online betting run lines here.

San Francisco Giants at Los Angeles Dodgers MLB Odds Analysis

When: Saturday, April 16, 2016, 9:10pm ET Where: Dodgers Stadium, Los Angeles, CA TV: MLB Network, SNLA, CSBA Radio: AM 570 LA Sports Radio Live Stream: MLB Odds: TBA Pitching Matchup: Johnny Cueto (2-0, 4.50 ERA) (SF) vs Scott Kazmir (1-0, 5.40 ERA) (LAD)

Why should you bet on San Francisco?

The Giants send their new big-contract pitcher Johnny Cueto to the mound, but they also get another piece of Scott Kazmir. On Sunday, the Giants pounded three home runs off Kazmir, sending him to the showers after just four innings and giving up six earned runs, as the Giants cruised to a 9-6 victory. Cueto also gave up six earned runs in that game but struck out eight in the victory. Even though the Giants have a number of injuries, including reliever Sergio Romo (elbow) and shortstop Brandon Crawford (hip flexor), their bench is coming through as Brandon Belt hit home runs Wednesday and Thursday in Colorado. Catcher Buster Posey has returned from missing time with a bruised foot. Their offense has the tools to take care of Kazmir again.

Why should you put your money on the Dodgers?

Yasiel Puig and Adrian Gonzalez are seeing their bats pick up for the Dodgers, and while Kazmir did pitch poorly against San Francisco on Sunday, his body of work over the past two years suggests that he will bounce back well on Saturday. The Dodger bullpen is starting to put things together as well, with three solid performances against the Diamondbacks. If Kazmir can take a lead into the seventh inning, I like the Dodgers’ chances to hold on with their relievers.

Expert Pick and Final Score Prediction

I like the Dodgers to turn the tables on the Giants in this rematch of last Sunday’s starting pitchers. I’m predicting a 3-2 Dodger win.
