Why should you bet on Houston?

Normally, David Price being on the mound is a good sign for bettors favoring his team, but this time it’s different, as he has permitted at least six earned runs in three of his last four outings. Erik Kratz and George Springer are the only two Astros who have ever taken him deep, though. Jose Altuve’s bat seems to be waking up from an early slump, as he drove in three runs in Houston’s 7-1 whipping of the Indians on Monday. If he can see some good pitches from the lefty Price, he could have a big night at Fenway.

Why should you put your money on the Red Sox?

Despite dropping two of three at Yankee Stadium last weekend, the Red Sox have won five of seven. They have scored 183 runs so far this year, well ahead of the next best team in the American League, which is Texas at 149. In their Tuesday spanking of the A’s, the Red Sox had seven of nine starters with hits, and Mookie Betts started the game with the third leadoff home run of his career, and Hanley Ramirez blasted a 460-foot two-run home run that led highlight reels on Tuesday night.

Expert Pick and Final Score Prediction

The Red Sox are rolling right now, and I don’t see that stopping against a spot starter from the Astros. I’m predicting a 6-2 Boston win.
