Top 5 Picks That Could Win

Rory Mcllroy – Mcllroy has not had the best start off to the year so far. But this does not mean that you should count him out. He had been ranked number 1 for the longest time all last season and is still teetering that spot, now at number 2.

Jon Rahm – The new number 1 golfer will try to make a statement this season. The only thing holding him back so far as being way ahead at number 1 is having a major championship, since he has none. Winning here would make an excellent mark on his resume moving forward.

Bryson DeChambeau – DeChambeau has hit the gym hard and put on some weight. This has benefited his swing and power greatly. He is coming off placing 7 consecutive top 10’s and looking to take a crack at this championship.

Justin Thomas – it is hard to ignore the previous number 1 golfer and a former winner of this event. He knows how to play here and could sneak a win. However, his iron play is not the absolute best but hopefully he can keep out of the major rough.

Brooks Koepka – Koepka is one of the more interesting picks for this championship. He has fallen from grace so to speak due to his knee injury and stem-cell procedure on it. He has not been able to play at the high level that he has been showing us before. However, he has won this event 2 years in a row and would be the first person to ever 3 peat this.
Potential Winning Pick
One pick that I would like to see happen would be Brooks Koepka. However, I do not think he is ready yet for this.

One person to bet money on would be Jon Rahm. The 25 year old is firing off all cylinders takin that number one ranking and could show off his first major championship.
