After a season off last year, due to severe flood, the Greenbrier Classic will take place this weekend. 156 of the best golfers in the world will get together at the Old White TPC Course in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. The winning purse for this PGA Tour event is more than $7.1M. The course is longer than 7,200 yards, and plays as a Par 70. Danny Lee is the defending champion, and no golfer has ever won the tournament twice in their career. Stuart Appleby holds the tournament record shooting -22 in a four day span. Let’s look at the 2017 Greenbrier Classic Betting Prediction:

2017 Greenbrier Classic Betting Odds & Prediction

Patrick Reed +1200

A little surprising that Patrick Reed is the favorite to win the 2017 Greenbrier, but the guy can certainly play some golf. Reed is just 26 years old, and on the verge of moving into the Top 50 on the Money list. In 21 events, Reed has missed the cut just four times. Look for him to be quite the factor on the final days. Reed is listed +1200.

Phil Mickelson +2200

The veteran has the ability to take down this major, with his strength of being smart, and knowing when to go for it, and when to play it safe. Phil has not played in a competitive tournament in over a month. Mickelson was unable to play in the US Open, and he has the British Open in his mind, this will be a nice preparation for him. Phil is +2200.

Danny Lee +2500

Danny Lee had many people looking his way last weekend, but he came up short. In fact, Lee finished 22nd at the Quicken Loans. That came a week after finishing 3rd at the Travelers. Lee has made the cut 14 out of 24 times this season, and has 3 Top 10’s. Lee is certainly a guy at +2500 that can take down this title.

Last year's winner Danny Lee is not one of the favorites to win the Greenbrier Classic.

Keegan Bradley +3000

Keegan Bradley has made the Top 10 in 5 events this season. He ranks 43rd on the PGA Money List with more than $1.6M in earnings. Bradley has played pretty well in his last two events, finishing in the Top 10 in both. He finished 8th at the Travelers, and with a final day 67 went for 5th at the Quicken Loans. Keegan Bradley is +3000 to win this event.

Harris English +6000

Harris English has +6000 odds to win the Greenbrier. Just think of that pay day. Harris English is a guy that can score many birdies, and also a guy that can score several bogeys. If Harris English puts things together though, he can play with the best of them. Harris English is a pretty good dark horse pick here to win.

There is a look at our Greenbrier Classic Betting Predictions. When it’s all said and done, we love the odds of Harris English at +6000. The guy needs consistency, but if he finds it, he has the ability to go low on consecutive days. It’s quite the longshot, but it’s going to be our final bet. Take Harris English +6000 to win the 2017 Greenbrier Classic.
