The Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship 10 event will be taking place Saturday, February 15th at the Broward County Convention Center, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. David Mundell will be replacing Joe Riggs at BKFC 10 following his injury withdrawal to face Hector Lombard for the main event. This event will also be the first time Hector Lombard will be fighting in this league. Let’s see how the BKFC betting odds will be for the fight night.

Lombard Vs Mundell 2020 BNFC Betting Lines & Game Preview

Hector Lombard is considered the favorite for this one. Mundell is jumping at the last minute for this fight, so he may be at a slight disadvantage. The odds for this event are currently at:

Lombard: -175

Mundell: +145

The Fighters

Hector “Lightning” Lombard (34-10-1) has 22 of his wins by knockout. Six of his losses have come by decision. He has a long history of fighting under his belt, and has the experience to take on just about anyone.

Originally an Olympic judo competitor, he had a great run through Bellator and eventually the UFC. He did not perform as well in the UFC, and ultimately found his way to Bare Knuckle. Over time in his career, he has been well received and respected and has ultimately been successful thus far.

David “Redneck” Mundell (10-5-0) has six of his wins by decision. Three of his losses have been by TKO. He has a shorter resume compared to Lombard, but somewhat unique side by side.

Mundell is stepping up to the plate at a last minute notice, due to the injury of Joe Riggs. He is able to keep his fights at his pace and make them last until a decision is made. Although he is still considered “new” to this league, he may not have the experience to fight a well versed opponent such as Lombard, nor has he had the proper time to prepare for this fight.

Lombard Vs Mundell Final Thoughts

Both of these fighters should present a well enjoyed fight. Lombard will be making his debut in the Bare Knuckle FC while his first opponent will be a fighter that is a lot younger than him trying to work his way up the league.

Lombard has the experience to fight just about any way possible. He is able to throw some heavy punches and really make you work for the match. He is looking to really start off strong in this league.

Mundell is able to make you work as well, taking his fights usually to the end and waiting for a decision. This strategy may not work in his favor this time, as Lombard could be the aggressor and try to knock him out. Mundell has arguably not fought anyone like Lombard before, so he is going to have to rethink his strategy.

Overall I believe Mundell will put up a strategic, good fight. Lombard will be able to hit him with some heavy strikes and possibly be too much for Mundell. He should be able to claim his first victory in the Bare Knuckle FC.
