NASCAR Hooters 250 at the Homestead-Miami Speedway
As the NASCAR Xfinity Series racers take the track on Saturday, one of the most popular drivers in NASCAR history will be joining them. Dale Earnhardt Jr., the 15-time Most Popular Driver in NASCAR award winner will be racing in Saturday’s Hooters 250 at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. Dale Jr., who will be making his third appearance in the Xfinity Series since he retired in 2017, will join a group of up-and-coming drivers who will be looking to get one step closer to the NASCAR Monster Energy Series. Let’s take a look at some of the favorites, along with their NASCAR odds, to take the checkered flag at Homestead on Saturday.
NASCAR Xfinity Series Race Hooters 250 Betting Preview
This weekend will be a unique opportunity for many of the drivers, as they will be racing on both Saturday and Sunday. This could be the break that some of the drivers need in order to climb up the driver point standings.
Chase Briscoe +225
Briscoe has had quite the season. He’s currently sitting atop the Xfinity Series driver point standings. Briscoe has two victories, and six top 10 finishes on the season. Homestead is the perfect track for Briscoe’s driving style, so look for him to be in contention when the checkered flag is waved.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. +350
How can Earnhardt Jr. not be among the favorites? Although he only races once per season, he still has the experience to be considered as a contender. Although he has struggled at Homestead throughout his career, Earnhard loves to race as close as possible to the outside wall, so this will help his chances at Homestead.
Justin Allgaier + 550
Allgaier is always near the top at the end of the Xfinity Series races. He has four top 10 finishes on the season. Winless on the season, Allgaier has a great shot to take his first victory of the season on Saturday.
Austin Cindric +650
Although he didn’t get the win, Cindric raced well last time out at Atlanta. He led the most laps during the race. He has finished in the top 10 his last two starts at Homestead. He always runs well on 1 ½ mile tracks, so he’ll be in the running for the checkered flag at the Hooters 250.
Noah Gragson +850
Gragson is currently sitting in second place in the driver point standings. With two wins in the opening weekend at Daytona, along with five top-five finishes, Gragson is a force to be reckoned with. Look for him to be at or near the top of the pack on Saturday.
Harrison Burton +1000
Burton has finished in the top 10 in all eight of his starts this season. Burton is currently sitting in third place in the driver point standings. He already has one victory this season, but he would love to add his second one at Homestead on Saturday.
Ross Chastain +1000
Ross seems to be at one extreme or the other. In six of his eight starts, he’s finished in the top 10. In the other two starts, he hasn’t finished the race. Is this race going to be a “boom” for him, or a “bust”?
