NASCAR Gander RV & Truck Series – Pocono Organics 150

Posted by Derrick Harper on June 26, 2020 in

A busy weekend of NASCAR action at the Pocono Raceway will start off on Saturday with the Gander RV & Truck Series Pocono Organics 150 to Benefit Farm Aid. Long Pond, Pennsylvania will be a happening place, as the Pocono Raceway will host five races in two days. The Pocono Organics 150 will be a short race, as the drivers will only be taking 60 laps around the unique triangle-shaped format at Pocono. The drivers will have to navigate the sharp turns with caution, and then make up time on the fast and lengthy straightaways. With this being such a short race, the drivers will be looking to make quick moves to get to the top of the pack, so we should see a lot of exciting racing action in this one. Here are some of this week’s top betting picks for the Pocono Organics 150 to Benefit Farm Aid, along with their NASCAR odds.

NASCAR Pocono Organics 150 Betting Preview

Brett Moffitt +470

Moffitt has finished in the top-10 finishes in two of his last three starts. He hasn’t had many starts at Pocono, but in last year’s event, he finished fifth. Moffitt is the favorite to take the checkered flag here on Saturday, and should finish at or near the top.

Ross Chastain +650

Chastain has been the model of consistency this season, as he has not finished outside of the top 20 in any start. Chastain is the defending champion in the Pocono Organics 150, so he knows what it takes to tame Pocono. Chastain also drives in the Xfinity Series, so he has had numerous opportunities to race at Pocono. His experience could be key to having a successful race on Saturday.

Austin Hill +700

Although he’s winless in his four appearances at Pocono, Hill still has a great shot at taking the checkered flag. Hill has finished inside the top 10 in four of his last five starts. With momentum going this way, this could be the weekend for him to earn his first victory of the season.

Brandon Jones +850

Jones will be making a spot start this weekend. He will be racing in the #51 Kyle Busch truck. Busch has won twice in this truck, so it has proven to be a fast machine. Jones may not be the racer that Busch is, but he still has a good amount of experience, so look for good things from the #51 truck on Saturday.

Christian Eckes +950

Eckes is on the up-and-up. He has been racing well as of late, and he’s looking to finally get over the hump. In his last two races, he has finished inside the top-10. Last year he finished fourth in this event, so he should be a good pick to finish near the top on Saturday.

Todd Gilliland +2000

Gilliland has been moving up the charts as of late. With three top-10’s in his last four races, Gilliland looks like a good value pick here. In his last two races at Pocono, he has finished in the top 10, so he could be an easy cash grab this weekend.
