Posted by Derrick Harper on April 30, 2021 in

Believe it or not, this weekend’s race is called the Buschy McBusch Race 400. This is what happens when you give the fans the power to name a race. This race will be held at the Kansas Speedway. We should see some great racing action here on Sunday afternoon. Let’s take a look at some of the favorites to take home the checkered flag at the Buschy McBusch Race 400 so you can bet against their NASCAR odds.

NASCAR Betting Preview – Buschy McBusch Race 400

Denny Hamlin

Hamlin is coming off of a rough showing at last weekend’s GEICO 500. He placed 32nd after being the favorite to win. Oddsmakers don’t seem to be too worried about his finish as he is once again favored to win this weekend. Prior to the GEICO 500, Hamlin had finished in the top 5 in six straight races. Hamlin has yet to win this season, but he did win at Kansas last year. Hamlin is currently leading the driver point standings, so he’d love nothing more than to extend his lead with a victory at Kansas.

Martin Truex, Jr.

Truex is the only driver in the Cup Series to have multiple victories this season. Truex had won at Kansas before as he claimed the checkered flag here in 2017. He has six top 10 finishes on the season.

Chase Elliott

In his 10 career starts at Kansas, Elliott seems to have tamed the track. He has a victory, four top-five finishes, and six top 10’s. Even though Elliott has struggled to start the season, he knows what it takes to race well at Kansas. He has finished in second place twice this season, so look for him to race well and be a contender for the checkered flag on Sunday.

Brad Keselowski

Coming off of a victory at the GEICO 500, Keselowski has momentum heading into the Buschy McBusch Race 400. Prior to winning last weekend, Keselowski had struggled, but the victory should have him back on the right track. Keswlowski has won at Kansas in 2011 and 2019.

Kyle Larson

After being exiled from the Cup Series, Larson has returned and is running well this season. He’s currently sitting in the ninth spot in the driver point standings. Larson has a win this season at Las Vegas, and he also ran very well at Atlanta. He has four top-five finishes, and six top-10 finishes on the season. Look for Larson to run well at Kansas on Sunday.

Joey Logano

Logano is just behind Martin Truex, Jr. in the driver point standings. Logano has won this season, and he would love to get his second checkered flag of the season on Sunday. Logano has four top-fives, and six top-10’s on the season. Logano has three career victories at Kansas, with the latest one coming last season.

Ryan Blaney

Blaney has had a nice start to the 2021 season. With his victory at Atlanta, he has finished in the top five twice and has five top-10 finishes. We’re looking for Blaney to be a factor in Sunday’s race as he looks to move up the driver point standings.
