The Formula 1 Circuit makes its way back to North America. The Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City, Mexico will host the 2019 Mexico Grand Prix. This will be the 18th round of the FIA Formula One World Championships. With only four races left this season, drivers will be jockeying for the top spots to gain more points.

Let’s take a look at some of the F1 Betting favorites to take the top spot on the podium after the Mexican Grand Prix.

2019 Mexico Grand Prix Odds, Preview & Expert Prediction

Lewis Hamilton

Now that Mercedes has already clinched the Constructors title, the only thing left for Lewis Hamilton is to win the Drivers championship. With a victory here this weekend, Hamilton can do clinch his sixth world title. Hamilton currently leads the driver standings with 338 points. Hamilton has nine wins on the season, and has finished on the podium in 14 of the 17 races.

After winning seven of the first 10 races, Hamilton has cooled off a little bit. He has won just once in the last five races, and is coming off of a third place finish last weekend in Japan. Hamilton would love to win here this weekend, so the pressure of winning the world title would be off.

Valtteri Bottas

The winner of last weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix, Bottas and Lewis Hamilton are the only drivers left that can win the Driver’s championship. With three wins and 13 podium finishes this season, Hamilton’s Mercedes teammate has also had an excellent season.

He’s finished on the podium in four of his last five races, so he is on a roll. If he can win here, he’ll turn up the pressure on Hamilton.

Charles Leclerc

This race circuit is set up for team Ferrari to have success. The rookie Leclerc is currently sitting in 3rd place in the driver standings. He has finished on the podium in eight of the last 11 races.

With two wins on the season, Leclerc has exceeded expectations. One of Formula 1’s hottest drivers as of late should be at the top of the pack this weekend.

Max Verstappen

The Red Bull driver is fourth in the driver standings. With two wins on the season, Verstappen has finished in the top 5 in all but one race this season.

He has frequently been on the podium, as he has six top 3 finishes on the season. Verstappen loves racing in Mexico City, as he has won the last two Mexican Grand Prix’s. Could this be three in a row?

Sebastian Vettel

This has been a disappointing season for Vettel. Many looked at Vettel to be the top challenger to Lewis Hamilton this season. However, things haven’t gone the way that Vettel had hoped, winning just one race on the season.

The four time F1 champion has raced better as of late, finishing on the podium in four of the last seven races. Vettel finished second last weekend in Japan, so he’s hoping that he can take the checkered flag this weekend in Mexico City.
