With the team title, the fight for the top independent, and the battle for the top three overall still up for grabs, the MotoGP Circuit will be ready for some excitement this weekend. All of this excitement will take place at the Sepang International Circuit for the Malaysia MotoGP.

With only two races left on the MotoGP Circuit, everyone will be jockeying to get closer to the top of the point standings. There’s still a lot up for grabs, so everyone will be racing to win.

Let’s take a look at some of the MotoGP betting favorites to take home the checkered flag at the Malaysian MotoGP.

2019 Malaysia MotoGP Odds, Preview & Expert Prediction

Marc Marquez

With 11 wins and 16 podium finishes this season, Marc Marquez is the odds on favorite to win this weekend’s event. With the individual title already in hand, Marquez will be racing for his Repsol Honda Team as they are currently sitting just one behind Team Ducati.

Marquez loves to race at the Sepang International Circuit, and he’s the defending champion. He’d love nothing more than to defend his title and even the team standings with just one race remaining.

Andrea Dovizioso

The Team Ducati driver is currently sitting in second place behind Marquez in the point standings. He has two wins and eight podium finishes on the season. He’s clinched second place in the driver standings, but he still wants to have a good showing.

Dovizioso had a rough weekend in Australia and will be looking to bounce back from his poor outing. He has always raced well at Sepang, so he’ll be looking to get his third win of the season. He will also be trying to help Ducati clinch the team title as well.

Danilo Petrucci

Petrucci also struggled in Australia. He will not only be racing for himself, but he’ll also be racing to help Team Ducati clinch the team title this weekend. After his crash in Australia, he ruined his streak of scoring points in every race this season. He wants to make up those lost points at Sepang.

Petrucci is sitting in fifth place in the driver standings, just 24 points behind Alex Rins for 3rd, and 14 points behind Maverick Vinales for 4th. With a good showing here, he could pass both of them in the standings. This is a track that he’s fond of, so look for good things from him here.

Fabio Quartararo

The rookie is currently sitting in sixth place in the driver standings, but he can gain some serious ground on those ahead of him with a good finish at Malaysia. He will also be racing for his team which is based out of Malaysia, so the fans will be on the side of Quartararo and his Petronas Yamaha team.

He’s also racing for the Top Independent Team rider award, and the Top Independent Team award, so he’ll be bringing everything that he has to Malaysia to help himself and his team get closer to some hardware.
