With one race down in the round of 12 in the Monster Energy Series NASCAR playoffs, the NASCAR circuit is headed to one of the most unpredictable tracks in the United States. This weekend, the second leg of the round of 12, the 1000 Bulbs.com 500 will take place at the Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega, Alabama. A victory here guarantees a driver a spot in the next round, so everything is up for grabs.

Let’s take a look at some of the NASCAR Betting favorites to win the race and guarantee themselves a spot in the round of 8.

2019 1000 Bulbs.com 500 Odds, Preview & Expert Pick

Brad Keselowski

Keselowski loves racing at the Talladega Superspeedway. With five career victories here, Keselowski knows what it takes to win at one of the toughest tracks. Keselowski can draft with the best of them, and at Talladega, that can go a long way in helping gain a victory.

Unless a catastrophe happens, Keselowski should have enough points to advance to the next round, but he’d still love to get the automatic spot with a win here this weekend.

Chase Elliott

Chase won the Geico 500 at Talladega back in April. Even though he struggled last weekend at Dover, finishing last after an engine failure, Elliott and his Chevrolet will have a good showing at Talladega.

Elliott will be a desperate racer, as he really needs to win here to get into the next round.

Joey Logano

The Team Penske driver has three career victories at the Talladega Superspeedway. Logano has four consecutive top 5 finishes at Talladega.

Logano is currently sitting in ninth place in the point standings. With only eight drivers advancing to the next round, Logano knows that his back is against the wall and that he needs to place well to have a chance at advancing.

Denny Hamlin

After a fifth place finish at Dover, Hamlin is looking to race well at Talladega. He has three career superspeedway victories, one of which came at Talladega in 2014. At last year’s 1000Bulbs.com 500, Hamlin finished fourth.

Hamlin is sitting in second place in the point standings, and should likely advance, but at this stage of the game, nothing is a sure thing, so Hamlin will be trying to win to get the automatic spot in the round of eight.

Kevin Harvick

In his long career, Harvick has only won once at Talladega. With that win being over a decade ago, Harvick would love nothing more than to end his winless drought this weekend.

In his last five races here, he has finished in the top 10 on two different occasions. Coming off of a fourth place finish last weekend in Dover, Harvick will be looking to further solidify his spot in the point standings.

Aric Almirola

The defending 1000Bulbs.com 500 champion, Almirola knows how to win at Talladega. He has six straight to 10 finishes here, so he knows what it takes to race well.

Almirola can’t advance to the next round, so he is playing the spoiler here. He has nothing to lose, so he will be going all out to spoil things for others during the 2019 1000 Bulbs.com 500.
